MIDWEST CLINIC SHUTTLE POLICY
Shuttles will run between McCormick Place West and
the official conference hotels. Attendees must show shuttle passes
when they board. The Midwest Clinic is pleased to provide complimentary
shuttle passes to attendees staying at our official conference hotels.
We encourage you to take advantage of this free service, as well as
special accommodation rates, by staying in one of the hotels listed
above. You will receive your shuttle pass when you check-in at your
hotel, and may use it throughout the entire conference. Please note
that the official conference hotels will provide us with lists of their
Midwest Clinic guests. When you make your reservation, you must inform
hotel staff that you are participating in The Midwest Clinic in order
to receive your complimentary shuttle pass. Passes cannot be shared,
so please give the hotel the name of every person staying in your room.
Any attendee who is not staying at one of the official
conference hotels but wishes to use the shuttle service is welcome
to purchase a shuttle pass. Passes will be available at The Midwest
Clinic registration desk for $20. They can be used throughout the entire
conference, allowing attendees to save money on taxis and parking.
The Midwest Clinic will be accessible to all. If
your mobility is limited and you plan to use the
conference shuttles, please contact The Midwest Clinic
office at as soon as possible so we
can make sure your needs are accommodated.
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT HOUSING
The Midwest Clinic has a strong relationship with
each of the official conference hotels, and works with them to provide
discounted conference rates. Occasionally, outside travel agencies
contact conference attendees, promising lower rates. In the past, some
have claimed to be affiliated with The Midwest Clinic, or have offered
a lower rate in exchange for entering an awards program or signing
up for another service. Please be aware that housing offers from anyone
other than our Event Manager, Anna Collinge, do not come from The Midwest
Clinic, and approach them with caution. If you have been contacted
