Heather Young Mandujano - Biographical Information

Heather Young Mandujano is Distance Learning Education Coordinator at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Her responsibilities include teaching classes, updating curriculum, managing student performers, and running the prestigious Distance Learning Apprentice Program, which she founded to help CIM students improve their teaching skills. As a clinician, Mrs. Mandujano presented at the ISSDL Conference in 2011, which was attended by representatives from some of the world's leading music conservatories. She has also presented at the ISTE Conference (San Diego, 2012), the OMEA Professional Development Conference (2013, 2014), the Ohio ETech Conference (2013, 2014), and the TI:ME Central Regional Conference (2014). Prior to her work at CIM, Mrs. Mandujano taught general music in Massachusetts and Ohio. She has taught private flute lessons for over fifteen years and earned a degree in Music Education, magna cum laude, from Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music in 2005.
